No, a caretaker can only receive payment for their time beginning on the day their application was approved by DHS.
DHS employees can be caretakers for other families, but not for themselves. They must be a grandparent, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister, uncle, aunt, or cousin to the child, over the age of 18 and live outside of the child's home.
Only family members who are 18 and older and fall under these titles are allowed to be caretakers for your child.
To deactivate your account please reach out to us at help@kith.care. Once we receive your email a support member will further assist you in deactivating your account. Once your account is deactivated you will no longer receive timesheets.
If your application is still pending after 48 hours please contact us at help@kith.care so we can further assist you.
To add your child to your account, go to help@kith.care and fill out the form with your information and also with the child's full name and date of birth. Once we receive this information our support member will be able to add your child to your account.
To change your banking information, log in to your user dashboard at Kithcare.io, and navigate to "Account." From there, you can update your banking information by clicking "Update Banking Info."
Approved caretakers will be paid $25 per child / day (a day of care must be at least 4 hours to qualify).
If your caretaker made an error on the timesheet, log into your account at https://kithcare.io and "deny" the timesheet. Once the timesheet is denied it will create another timesheet for the caretaker. The caretaker can then log into their account at https://kithcare.io and correct the timesheet.
If you are unable to find a link to your weekly timesheet in your text messages, log in to your user dashboard at https://kithcare.io/login. There, you'll be able to see a list of all current and past timesheets.
